Where you will be working?

You are working in the Production Operations department. Within this department you are part of the Qualification Engineering team (~20 colleagues) which performed the final step of our production process. 

What will you be doing?

As Qualification Engineer, you will be working on our state-of-the-art semiconductor metrology systems in our ISO 5 clean room and laboratories. Your mission is to make sure that all (sub)modules are integrated in the right way to create a high performing metrology machine for our clients.

You are responsible to solve potential problems that arose but were not found during the build phase. This requires diving deep into our technology and complex trouble shooting.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Execute test and calibration procedures for (sub)system;

  • Troubleshoot (hands-on and via data analysis) and solve any technical issues that arise;

  • Document progress of test plans;

  • Work using Python to implement test automation;

  • Collaborating with D&E engineers and other stake holder to get to the bottom of issues;

  • Industrialize our processes.

What do we expect from you?

Furthermore, you need to recognize yourself in the profile as described below.

  • BSc (University or Dutch HBO) and/or MSc in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Aviation Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Physics, Nano Technology or other related backgrounds;

  • At least 3 years of experience in hands-on activities on highly complex systems, like semiconductor equipment, satellites, astronomy equipment or similar technology;

  • Proficiency with Python is highly beneficial;

  • Pro-active, problem-solving and hands-on attitude;

  • Flexible and capable of working in a high pace environment;

  • Proficiency in professional-level English is essential to thrive in this role.

  • You can work 5 days a week on-site in the clean room;
