Logistics Operator

Our machines enables our customers - the world’s leading chipmakers – to increase the production yields, and thus, functionality of their microchips, which in turn leads to smaller, more powerful consumer electronics.
Founded in 2016, we bring together the most creative minds (approx. 190 employees) in science and technology and develop a one-of-a-kind, revolutionary high throughput Scanning Probe Microscopy system.
As Logistics Operator you are responsible for the correct receival, inspection, storage, and registration of all incoming and outgoing goods. You will be working about 80% in the office and about 20% in the warehouse.
Specific tasks and responsibilities include:
Prepare items for national or international shipment, including all applicable documentation. Incoterms knowledge
Organize shipments national and international with relative documentation for customs.
Registration and tracking of shipped orders in the internal ERP system according to the procedure.
Unpacking, sorting, storing and registration of all incoming products into the internal ERP system.
Report quality issues to the applicable stakeholders for subsequent action.
When applicable, clean the received products and prepare them for further storage cleaning, kitting, or usage.
Repacking of goods and products when necessary.
Order picking and distribution of items on request of the applicable stakeholders.
Re-stocking of items that have been tested.
Inventory stock.
Support in various warehouse and packaging activities.
3PL contact.
What do we require from you?
The candidate we seek has sufficient experience as Logistics Operator, preferably in a working environment which is in line with that of NFI. Experience in the field of high-tech equipment is a plus. Furthermore, you need to recognize yourself in the profile as described below.

Ability to work hard, but detail-oriented and accurate.
You are a great team player within diverse, international teams.
Microsoft office Word, Excel and Outlook is a must.
Fork lift certificate is a must.
Fluent English communication skills, both verbal and written (Dutch not required, but helpful). You are able to do all your work in English.
Strong communicational skills.
Excellent time- and task-management skills (i.e. ability to set priorities and meet deadlines).
Detail-oriented, is able to come up with improvement plans and has an enthusiastic and motivating communication style.
Evaluate and optimize the working procedures in order to meet productivity standards and team KPI’s.
Provide support/assistance to other teams and departments within Nearfield.
Additional duties as assigned by Management.
