Nearfield Instruments (NFI) is a fast-growing scale-up high-tech company. We design, develop, integrate, market and service advanced metrology machines. Our machines enable our customers - the world's leading chipmakers – to increase the production yields, and thus, functionality of their microchips, which in turn leads to smaller, more powerful consumer electronics.
Founded in 2016, we bring together the most creative minds (approx. 400 employees) in science and technology and develop a one-of-a-kind, revolutionary high throughput Scanning Probe Microscopy system.
What will you be doing?
As interim recruiter you will join Nearfield's HR/Recruitment team and will be responsible for the end-to-end candidate experience to attract skilled (technical) staff for our organization. We are continuously recruiting experienced candidates in a large variety of engineering- and physics disciplines, to support the R&D, development, and production activities of our semiconductor metrology systems. You are a firm sparring partner for our (hiring) managers and lead and facilitate a smooth recruitment process for each position that will be issued.
Specific tasks and responsibilities include:
End-to-end recruitment activities for all departments within Nearfield
Advising hiring managers on recruitment strategies and best practices
Development and active management of candidate pools and networks
Continuously improve and renew our sourcing strategies, channels, and activities

What do we require from you?
Scale-ups can provide phenomenal learning and development opportunities but can also be a hectic environment at times. You must fit in such a climate and don't mind to go the extra mile on a regular basis and feel comfortable with some uncertainty. Furthermore, you need to recognize yourself in the profile as described below.
Must-haves:
Minimum 5 years of experience in end-to-end recruitment for complex technical profiles
High-tech experience, preferably in the semiconductor industry
Proven experience within a start-up/scale-up environment
Self-starter with a pro-active, problem-solving and hands-on attitude
Strong stakeholder management skills
Genuine interest in tech and willingness to dig into the semiconductor industry
Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken
Available for minimum 32 hours per week
Due to the nature of our production environment and close collaboration with teams on-site, we prefer candidates who can work from our Rotterdam office
