Where will you be working?
In this role, you are part of the "Logistics & Operations team." The company is growing, and we are seeking a motivated colleague to join this dynamic team and strengthen our operational excellence and flexibility.
What will you be doing?
We are looking for a Logistics & Trade Compliance Coordinator to take end-to-end control of inbound and outbound logistics, combining trade compliance oversight with day-to-day shipping execution. In this role, you will ensure that all shipments are executed efficiently, compliantly, and on time, while maintaining strong alignment with regulatory requirements and internal stakeholders. This position strengthens flexibility, continuity, and operational excellence across our supply chain.
Key responsibilities:
Trade Compliance & Customs Management
Ensure correct commodity classification (HS codes) and application of the Nomenclature User Tariff to determine duties and taxes
Prepare, verify, and maintain import and export instructions, including duty calculations and applicable tariff measures
Oversee compliance with all customs legislation and formalities, including customs declarations where applicable
Handle Certificates of Origin (CvO), including EUR.1, ensuring correct origin determination and documentation
Perform and review EXA-A and EX1 controls to ensure export compliance accuracy
Apply correct UN classifications for regulated goods, in collaboration with the QSHE team
Manage and apply relevant customs procedures and regimes to ensure compliant and efficient goods flows
Ensure export-control compliance under the supervision of the Export Control Officer
Shipping & Logistics Execution
Plan and coordinate inbound and outbound shipments across road, sea, and air freight
Book and organize transport, selecting cost-effective and reliable solutions
Maintain daily communication with customers, suppliers, freight forwarders, carriers, and customs brokers
Monitor shipment status and proactively resolve delays, disruptions, or transport issues
Safeguard delivery timelines and service commitments
Handle shipment documentation, order entry, and accurate registration in the ERP system
Manage transport-related insurance matters and damage claims, coordinating with warehouse and forwarders
Cross-Functional Coordination & Operational Excellence
Act as the primary point of contact for logistics and compliance-related questions
Align closely with Warehouse, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, Sales, Customer Service, Spare Parts, and Project Management teams
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance shipment flow, compliance alignment, and operational resilience
Contribute to logistics reporting and analysis using Excel (performance, costs, improvement opportunities)
