Where will you be working?

You will be working in the Strategic Supply Chain & Procurement team in Singapore and with our colleagues in the Netherlands.

What will you be doing?

As an Operational Buyer your main focus at our company will be materials/components required for our manufacturing operations. Concrete: you are working with equipment, services and support in the development of scaling up the company for both purchase of products and services. This will be for the departments Warehousing, Cleanroom, IT HW & SW, Facilities and HR.

You are responsible for, but not limited to:

• Support the our Netherlands colleagues with issuance and management of POs required for our Netherlands suppliers.

• Execute and manage day-to-day operational procurement activities for our manufacturing operations;

• Support our Supply Chain Managers with PO issuance for FAI and HVM activities.

• get quotations, prepare PO’s, feed into PO approval process, make, administer, send and expedite PO’s;

• monitoring orders and guarding delivery times;

• monitor and manage supplier performance, including delivery times, quality, and compliance with agreements.

• meet with colleagues to define needs for services and lead negotiations;

•  

This will be your challenge:

• Support the start-up manufacturing operations in Singapore and also working with the Netherlands team;

• proactive problem solving in day-to-day tasks understanding how your work impacts the big picture; 

• taking responsibility and ownership of assigned responsibilities

• Educational background in supply chain, logistics, or procurement;

• 3 years of working experience in a similar role in a, however, we also welcome recent graduates and entry-level candidates.

• Comfortable working with applications like Excel and ERP.

• Flexible and capable of working in a high-tech/high-pace environment;

• Drive to succeed and add value to the success of the company;

• A real team player with strong interpersonal skills, quality orientation and an excellent command of the English language.
