About Nearfield Instruments
Nearfield Instruments (NFI) is a fast-growing scale-up high-tech company. We design, develop, integrate, market and service advanced metrology machines. Our machines enables our customers - the world’s leading chipmakers – to increase the production yields, and thus, functionality of their microchips, which in turn leads to smaller, more powerful consumer electronics.
Founded in 2016, we bring together the most creative minds (approx. 380 employees) in science and technology and develop a one-of-a-kind, revolutionary high throughput Scanning Probe Microscopy system.
Where will you be working?
You will be working within the Production Engineering team in close collaboration with D&E and System Engineering with the end goal to improve the production and CT.

Develop deep technical understanding of the module’s design, functionality, and integration.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives for module performance, reliability, and manufacturability.
Production Support & Troubleshooting
Provide hands-on support during module assembly, testing, and troubleshooting.
Analyze production issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (D&E, Supply chain, Service) to resolve technical challenges.
Process Optimization
Monitor and improve production processes related to the module.
Define and maintain work instructions, process flows, and control plans.
Lead root cause analysis and implement lean manufacturing principles.
Change Management
Manage engineering changes and ensure smooth implementation in production.
Validate changes through testing and documentation before release.
Training & Documentation
Train operators and technicians on module-specific procedures and best practices.
Maintain up-to-date documentation including assembly guides, troubleshooting manuals, and test protocols
Why is the position interesting for you?
