
Job description
We are seeking a Visual Marketing & Communication Specialist to strengthen our marketing and communication capabilities within Nearfield Instruments. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing high-quality visual content that supports brand positioning, marketing initiatives, and internal and external communication.
You will operate as a versatile, hands-on professional with a broad skill set across multiple visual disciplines, contributing to a consistent and professional brand identity across all touchpoints.
Key Responsibilities
Visual Content Creation
Design and produce high-quality visual assets, including presentations, infographics, social media content, advertisements, and campaign materials
Develop video content, motion graphics, and visual storytelling aligned with brand guidelines
Ensure consistency and quality across all visual outputs (digital and print)
Work across a wide range of formats, including graphic design, video, presentations, web, and potentially 3D
Marketing & Brand Support
Translate marketing strategies and campaign concepts into clear and compelling visual designs
Support digital marketing activities through web graphics, banners, email visuals, and landing pages
Optimize visual content for different platforms and target audiences
Safeguard and further develop the company’s visual identity and brand standards
Communication Design
Create visual materials for internal communication, including reports, newsletters, and leadership presentations
Translate complex (technical) information into clear, structured, and visually engaging formats
Support both internal and external stakeholders with effective visual communication
Project Management & Collaboration
Collaborate with cross-functional teams within our organization
Initiate new ideas and solutions for building the department whilst developing and enhancing workflows
Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced and high-demand environment
Ensure timely delivery of high-quality outputs, even under pressure
Take ownership and maintain clear communication with stakeholders
Job requirements
Profile & Qualifications
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communication, Visual Arts, or a related field
Approximately 5+ years of relevant experience in visual communication, design, or marketing roles
Skills & Competencies
Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects) and Microsoft 365.
Experience with video editing, motion graphics, and multimedia content creation
Affinity with additional disciplines such as web design or 3D is considered a plus
Solid understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and visual storytelling
Ability to translate complex information into clear and effective visual formats
Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines
