Where you will be working?    

You will be working in the Production Operations department. Within this department you will deal with various teams such as Assembly Integration Test Engineering, Commissioning and Planning. But also outside this team, you will interact with various departments within Nearfield Instruments.

What will you be doing?

As an Output Leader, you will play a key role in coordinating Operations activities to deliver high-quality systems on time. You’ll act as the central point of contact across Production, D&E, and Supply Chain, ensuring issues are tackled quickly and efficiently.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for professionals with (some) experience and who are eager to further develop their leadership skills and grow into more senior operational or program management roles.

  • Take ownership of output targets of machine deliveries ensuring customer committed shipment dates are met.

  • Coordinate daily activities across Production, D&E, and Supply Chain.

  • Manage materials, resources, technical issues to ensure smooth operations.

  • Identify bottlenecks or risks and drive solutions to keep progress on track.

  • Lead problem-solving efforts, ensuring timely decisions and clear communication.

  • Act as the operational "engine",  push for results and maintain focus on priorities.

  • Report output status clearly and regularly to senior leadership.

  • Continuously improve delivery processes and team alignment.

What we're looking for

  • At least 5 years of experience in project coordination, project management, or manufacturing operations (semiconductors or high-tech industries a big plus, or other similar complex industries).

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in a technical field.

  • Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional teams, you make things happen.

  • A natural drive to deliver results, “can do” and proactive mindset.

  • Strong communication (English) and organizational skills.

  • Comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, in Rotterdam.
