You will be working in the Production Operations department.
The Team Lead Planning plays a critical role in coordinating and optimizing the Operations planning processes including the linking with Sales, D&E, Supply Chain, Production and Install and Master planning.
This position involves leading a team of warehouse lead, shipping, (sr) production planners and factory logistics overseeing the scheduling, planning, and coordination of manufacturing activities and other deliverable of various company functions to ensure timely delivery of high-quality semiconductor products.
The Team Lead Planning collaborates closely with various departments to meet production targets and customer requirements and manages the warehouse activities to secure 100% inventory reliability.
Main responsibilities include:
Master Planning: Maintain and control Build Plan and progress. First point of contact for Sales for customer allocations to Build Plan. Prepare and present scenario’s for to meet customer delivery requirements.
Production Scheduling: Develop and maintain production schedules based on customer orders, production capacity, and inventory levels. Ensure alignment with production goals and deadlines.
Capacity Planning: Analyse overall production capacity (space and resources) and constraints to optimize resource utilization and minimize production downtime. Identify potential bottlenecks and propose solutions to enhance efficiency.
Inventory & Warehouse Management: Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, components, and finished goods. Coordinate with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure adequate inventory levels while minimizing excess stock and carrying costs.
Production Coordination and change control planning: plans and triggers production planning and material issue to production in line with production schedules. Plans engineering changes into the production schedules triggered by customer order configurations and Engineering changes.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements in production planning and scheduling. Implement best practices and participate in cross-functional initiatives to drive continuous improvement.
Performance Tracking: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, cycle times, and inventory turnover. Analyse performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
