Product Owner : Embedded Software Development

What you’re going to do
Our Embedded Software team is part of a larger Software group within the Design & Engineering department. The Software group creates the business logic, embedded software and firmware as well as PLC control software for our machines. You will be the product owner for this team of 8 young and talented Embedded Software Engineers.
This is what you’ll do:
Define and prioritize the product backlog for embedded software, aligning with overall product roadmap and business goals.
Work closely with applications engineering, product marketing and customers support teams to prioritize and translate customer wishes into product backlog items and acceptance criteria.
Collaborate with other disciplines (such as mechatronics, production, systems engineering) to define functional and non-functional software requirements and coordinate dependencies.
Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives, ensuring delivery of high-quality software on time.
Support validation, verification, and integration activities on test benches and actual semiconductor equipment.

who you are
You to recognize yourself in the profile as described below.
Demonstrated 3+ years of experience product ownership in a high-tech industrial domain.
3+ years of experience as a senior embedded software engineer.
Bachelor or masters level degree in Embedded Systems, Computer Engineering or related studies.
Experience working in a multi-disciplinary and fast-moving engineering environment, being in contact with customers, suppliers and the other engineers.
Proven experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Strong command of written and spoken English, as English is our main language.
