Project Manager
From televisions to cars, and from fridges to the device you are reading this on, they are all interconnected by semiconductor chips. To maximise their utility within limited space, methods are continually being devised to shrink them further. However, they've shrunk to a point where conventional measurement techniques fall short. That's where Nearfield Instruments steps in. We've developed pioneering in-line metrology tools such as Scanning Probe Microscopy (SPM) and Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM), which provide the accuracy needed when manufacturing advanced semiconductor devices. As project manager you lead projects that improve our complex deeptech mechatronics products. You deliver innovative solutions that exceed our customers expectations.
As a Project Manager you lead cross functional project teams that are assigned to develop, test and implement innovative products or product improvements which meet the requirements in time and in budget. With the team you make the project plan and use that to keep the project on track in order to meet the committed milestones. You identify the risks and mitigate them. You ensure that all deliverables are completed.
You define the KPI to measure project progress and success.
You work with the various team leads to ensure proper staffing of the project.
You’ll be joining Nearfield Instruments’ Program management team which is part of our D&E organization, a dynamic, diverse team from all over the world. You will work with engineers from various teams. What connects us is a drive to develop and build deep-tech metrology solutions that solve our customers’ complex technical challenges and to exceed customer expectations.
With your strong leadership skills, you boldly get things done while keeping quality, deadlines and customer satisfaction in mind. You have an excellent command of English and demonstrated abilities to lead and mentor a multi-disciplinary team. You also have:
5+ years of professional experience with leading development and improvement project for complex deeptech innovative mechatronics products.
A Master's degree in Mechatronics, Mechanics, Physics, or a related field.
Experience working in a multi-disciplinary engineering environment, with suppliers and co-developers.
