As a Service Engineer in our Application team, you’ll ensure that our in-house demo system is always performing at its best—enabling critical demonstrations, internal development, and next-gen innovations. What you’re going to do
As a Service Engineer, you’ll support the Quadra tool—our flagship metrology system—used in demos, software/hardware development, and application testing. Located at our Rotterdam HQ, the tool is a vital part of our customer and R&D ecosystem. You’ll keep it running, resolve issues, plan preventive maintenance, and coordinate usage across departments.
Your main responsibilities include:
Performing first-line troubleshooting on Quadra demo tool and escalating issues when needed
Planning and executing preventive and corrective maintenance
Supporting demo execution and validation activities in collaboration with Application and R&D teams
Handling internal tool usage requests and aligning on priorities and planning
Monitoring system performance and proposing improvements based on daily use
Contributing to maintaining a high-performing tool used in critical customer-facing and development activities

You’ll be part of the Application team, which is closely connected to Product Marketing, Sales, System Engineering, and R&D. This role sits at the intersection of internal product development and customer demonstration—making your work highly visible and impactful. You’ll work alongside driven engineers, service experts, and application specialists, all committed to excellence and continuous learning.

Who you are
You’re hands-on, curious, and reliable. You enjoy working with advanced technology and are driven by the challenge of keeping complex systems running smoothly. You take initiative, solve problems quickly, and love being part of a team that builds world-class products.
You also bring:
A technical degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
Experience as a Service Engineer, preferably in semiconductor equipment or advanced mechatronic systems
Ability to troubleshoot, plan maintenance, and interact across teams
A learning mindset and desire to grow in a high-tech, multidisciplinary environment
Proficiency in English (spoken and written)
