At Nearfield Instruments we're looking for a Technical Application Engineer to join our team.

Nearfield Instruments is a leader in developing high throughput scanning probe microscopy systems for atom-scale resolution 3D metrology in the semiconductor industry, having Headquarter at Dutch. The company works with the world's leading chip manufacturers to enhance production yields and the functionality of microchips, contributing to the advancement of consumer electronics.

What will you be doing?

This is a full-time on-site role for a Field Application Engineer / Tech Support Engineer at Nearfield Instruments located in South Gyeonggi Province, Pyungtek city. The role involves providing field application support, technical assistance, and sales support for advanced metrology machines.

What do we require from you?

  • Field Applications and Technical Support skills

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work independently and in a team

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field. Master’s degree is preferred

  • Knowledge of semiconductor industry processes is must

  • More than 5 years semiconductor device manufacturing experience is must

  • Oversea travel is required
