Job description

The Technical Project Lead acts as the right hand to the System Architect / Team Lead, driving execution of complex deep-tech equipment projects. This role ensures that technical deliverables, internal teams, and the supply chain are fully aligned to deliver high-performance systems on time.

You will operate at the intersection of engineering, operations, and suppliers; ensuring smooth progress from concept through industrialisation.

Key Responsibilities

Project Execution & Coordination

  • Drive project execution by tracking milestones, deliverables, risks, and dependencies

  • Proactively follow up on progress across teams and ensure timely completion of action items

  • Maintain clear reporting and escalation of issues impacting timeline or quality

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Coordinate activities across engineering (mechatronics, software, electronics), manufacturing, procurement, and quality

  • Act as a central communication hub, ensuring alignment between all internal stakeholders

Supply Chain & Supplier Management

  • Interface with external suppliers to ensure on-time delivery, specifications alignment, and quality standards

  • Monitor and follow up on purchase orders, supply chain constraints, and delivery commitments

  • Ensure supplier deliverables meet technical and integration requirements

Technical & Operational Support

  • Assist in resolving technical and operational bottlenecks impacting project progress

  • Support documentation, reviews, and design alignment across disciplines

Team Support

  • Act as sparring partner and right hand to the System Architect / Team Lead

  • Help guide teams with structured planning, clear priorities, and execution discipline

Job requirements

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in physics or engineering (Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial or related)

  • Experience in project coordination or technical project leadership

  • Solid stakeholder management and communication skills

  • Highly structured, proactive, and detail-oriented mindset

  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-tech development environment
