As we continue expanding globally, we are strengthening our presence in the APAC region and are looking for an experienced Recruitment Business Partner to support our growth.
What will you be doing?
As a Recruitment Business Partner for the APAC region, you will join Nearfield’s global HR & Recruitment team and take ownership of the end-to-end recruitment process for technical and business roles across Asia-Pacific. You will play a key role in attracting highly skilled talent in competitive semiconductor and high-tech markets, with a strong focus on Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan.
You will act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers and leadership teams, helping shape recruitment strategies and ensuring an excellent candidate experience throughout the hiring journey.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing end-to-end recruitment activities for APAC-based positions across multiple disciplines.
Partnering closely with hiring managers and stakeholders across different countries and time zones.
Developing and executing sourcing strategies tailored to local APAC markets.
Building and maintaining strong talent pipelines within the semiconductor and high-tech industries.
Identifying and engaging highly skilled candidates with niche or hard-to-find expertise.
Advising hiring managers on recruitment best practices, market insights, and hiring trends in APAC.
Managing relationships with recruitment agencies and external partners across the region.
Supporting employer branding initiatives and representing Nearfield Instruments at relevant networking and career events.
Helping improve and optimize recruitment processes, tools, and ways of working within a fast-growing international scale-up environment.
Collaborating closely with the global HR and recruitment teams based in the Netherlands.

We are looking for someone with:
Minimum 5 years of experience in end-to-end recruitment for complex technical or engineering profiles.
Experience recruiting within semiconductor, deep-tech, electronics, or other high-tech industries is highly preferred.
Strong stakeholder management skills and confidence partnering with senior hiring managers.
Experience recruiting across APAC markets, preferably Japan, South Korea, and/or Taiwan.
Strong sourcing and headhunting capabilities for niche and difficult-to-find talent.
A proactive, hands-on, and solution-oriented mindset.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with global teams.
Genuine interest in technology and curiosity about the semiconductor industry.
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
Additional language skills in Japanese, Korean, or Mandarin are considered a strong plus.
Based in Japan, South Korea, or Taiwan, with flexibility to occasionally collaborate across global time zones.
