Job description

As Senior Manager Probes Program, you will lead a complex, multidisciplinary program at the intersection of innovative probe manufacturing technologies and operational execution. You will be responsible for driving the development, industrialization, and delivery of AFM probe solutions that are critical to the performance of the semiconductor metrology systems at our clients.

This role combines strategic program leadership with operational excellence. You ensure that newly developed probe technologies are successfully brought from concept to scalable manufacturing and delivered to customers in line with the highest quality standards required in semiconductor high-volume manufacturing environments.

You work closely with R&D, Engineering, Supply Chain, Marketing & Sales, suppliers, and senior management to ensure alignment, execution, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Program Leadership

  • Lead end-to-end probe delivery program from concept through sourcing, development, validation, manufacturing, industrialization, and release

  • Set up and optimize processes required to scale probe production

  • Define program scope, planning, milestones, budget, and risk management

  • Define equipment requirements and drive development or acquisition

  • Align cross-functional stakeholders and ensure timely decision-making

  • Monitor progress and report KPI’s and status updates to senior management

  • Ensure smooth transfer from development phase to operational execution

Quality & Performance

  • Establish and monitor quality assurance processes to meet semiconductor industry standards

  • Drive high manufacturing yield and continuous improvement initiatives

  • Monitor performance across all process steps and implement corrective actions where required

Supply Chain & Supplier Management

  • Establish and maintain reliable sourcing of core probe elements

  • Manage supplier relationships and monitor supplier quality performance

  • Drive supplier process improvements and scalability

  • Scale operational capacity in line with sales forecasts

Customer & Business Alignment

  • Ensure on-time delivery of high-quality probes to customers

  • Align development and delivery planning with Marketing & Sales

  • Provide transparency to customers regarding timelines and milestones

Job requirements

Your Profile

  • Master’s degree in engineering, Physics, or a related technical field

  • 8+ years of experience in program management within a high-tech R&D environment

  • A founder mindset with end-to-end responsibility and a can-do, get-things-done mentality

  • Experience in semiconductor, nanotechnology, precision engineering, or similar industries

  • Proven track record in industrialization and scaling of technical products

  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

  • Structured, analytical, and results-oriented

  • Comfortable operating in a fast-growing, technology-driven organization
